1966 Ford

The 1966 Ford was Kari's (the owner's) Grandpa's truck.  Kari's Grandpa, who everyone called 'Hoss', hauled railroad ties from the railroad where  he worked,  He also used to haul rocks, gravel, dirt and anything else he needed to.  When Hoss passed away, Kari's dad and mom parked the truck at their house in Dryden where it sat for almost 40 years.  Trees grew in and around it as her parents could not part with the truck...there were just too many memories.

After 42 years, Kari's parents decided it was time to move and 'Ole Yeller' had to leave also.  Unbeknownst to Kari's parents,  she always admired and love the 1966 Ford, not only because it was her Papa's but she also had alot of memories.

So, Kari's Dad, husband and nephews dug it out, loaded it on a flatbed and hauled it to Memphis.

The residents love it and we have many visitors stop and ask the story behind it.

If you are in the area, stop by, check it out.
